She was ready to go on stage.

She twirled, poised and perfect on one foot.

She shimmied, she shook, she gave it everything she had.

She pas de basqued, she sprung.

She raced, she jumped, she won!

She graciously accepted the praise heaped on her.

She bowed, but the crowd wanted more.

She gave them the encore, she danced again.

She sang, and it brought tears to their eyes.

She was the best at everything.

And then it was time to stop.

Time to rest and recharge.

Because Mommy had made mac and cheese for lunch  🙂
